Samira’s creative practice is surface pattern based creating and exploring through the whole idea of
textile surface patterns. Her inspiration with the project an it’s process in doing so is the aesthetic essence of nature and it’s main colours, shapes, and textures that is found from the beauty of nature.
The creative practice in her textile surface patterns is looking into it’s symmetrical and repeated patterns on the scarves incorporating bold an vibrant colours along with using florals/plants as part of her projects theme and mainly within her creative practice.
Artists which she is Influenced and inspired by Andy Warhol with his pop art style an it’s bold vibrant colours as well as the repetitive imagery painting of the Hibiscus Flowers, and Catalina Estrada with her bright cheerful colours and the beautiful illustration piece of her RedRose Bush.
