Michel Andreina Sandrea León
Michel is a graphic designer and 3d artist. She is interested in the effects of new technologies and how this digital narrative influences social communication.
In her project, Human Batteries, she tries to reflect the duality between the tangible and intangible; the new technologies that advance and constantly test our person, creating an analogy that regularly feeds each other. The project wants abstractly to manifest some of the effects of human analogue-digital feedback, which has become a control system—paranoia, individualism-non-collective, mind-modelling. We must become aware and use technology as an innovative advance to avoid being human batteries, which recharge digital algorithms.
